International IT-Company The White Label Agency is looking for new talents for the position of Designer.

The White Label Agency provides WordPress web development and design services as a subcontractor to digital agencies worldwide. The company is based in Massachusetts, USA, and has development offices with most of the staff in Poltava. There are currently around 85 people working full-time for the company, and the plan is to keep growing the team throughout the year.

Job description

We are looking for a creative web designer to work primarily on web design projects for our clients as well as on designs for our own website and marketing material.

The main responsibilities are: create web designs for our clients, create new designs for our corporate website, come up with smart graphics and icons for visualizations and infographics (e.g. for our blog), and develop other types of advertisements and promotional material (such as banners, brochures, etc.). You will be part of the production and marketing team and it is important that you are a good team player.

We accept applications for full-time, part-time positions, and the terms and responsibilities might differ depending on which setup you are interested in.

Requirements:

  • Experience in web design (please send your portfolio together with your CV when applying);
  • Experience with vector graphics (development of logotypes, patterns, icons, etc.);
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, XD, Illustrator, Acrobat;
  • Knowledge of the modern tendencies in web design (adaptability, flat design, typography);
  • Experience with HTML and CSS;
  • Good English (written);
  • Attention to details;
  • Self-organization and time management;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Initiative and proactivity.

Having these skills is a plus:

  • Advanced written and good spoken English;
  • Understanding of nuances of web design for CMS (most importantly — WordPress);
  • Knowledge of Bootstrap & Foundation frameworks grid;
  • Experience of working with foreign (US, European) market;
  • Ability to switch between being efficient and a perfectionist when necessary.

How does the hiring process work?

Here’s what our process looks like once we get started:

Screening over a call

We start with a quick and friendly phone call so we can learn a little more about you and your fit for the role. At the same time, you can ask questions to us.

First interview

We’ll organise an interview (usually with the HR manager and another team member) to talk more about your skills and experience and how they relate to what we look for.

Practical test

If the interview goes well, some roles might require you to complete a practical task (like a coding test, or a hypothetical scenario) so we can see you in action.

Second Interview

We’ll organise a second interview to discuss your practical test and explore any new questions that might have. You could also be meeting other team members at this stage.

Offer

If you’re the best person for the role and we’re happy with everything so far, we will extend an offer to you for joining our team in your new role.
