1.1 About the vacancy

We accept applications from:

Junior developers (approx. 0.5-1 year of experience)
Middle developers (approx. 1-2 years experience)
Senior developers (approx. 2+ years of experience)

If you feel that you need more training before you’re a junior, we have an internship program you can apply for.

Please note that we do not consider applications from developers who want to work remotely.

 

1.2 What you will be doing

  • Building custom websites based on WordPress
  • Collaborating with technical leaders and team members to find the best solutions
  • Learning and evolving your skills
  • Working with clients on project-by-project, part-time and full-time basis
  • Growing your knowledge of WordPress

 

1.3 Requirements

  • Experience of building custom WordPress websites
  • Knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5
  • Transferring sites and databases (FTP/phpMyAdmin/SSH)
  • Understanding of databases/MySQL and arrays
  • Good knowledge of English

 

1.4 Bonus if you have

  • Knowledge in PHP5
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery
  • Web design and working with Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Experience from handling WordPress templates and widgets
  • Experience with WooCommerce and WooCommerce add-ons
  • Experience of multisite development
  • Experience of using REST API
  • Knowledge of Git for code versioning handling
  • Experience of working with SASS/LESS
  • Experience of working with Gulp/Grunt
  • Redmine/SVN/Trello or other experience from working with management tools
  • High level of spoken and written English

How does the hiring process work?

Here’s what our process looks like once we get started:

Screening over a call

We start with a quick and friendly phone call so we can learn a little more about you and your fit for the role. At the same time, you can ask questions to us.

First interview

We’ll organise an interview (usually with the HR manager and another team member) to talk more about your skills and experience and how they relate to what we look for.

Practical test

If the interview goes well, some roles might require you to complete a practical task (like a coding test, or a hypothetical scenario) so we can see you in action.

4

Second Interview

We’ll organise a second interview to discuss your practical test and explore any new questions that might have. You could also be meeting other team members at this stage.

Offer

If you’re the best person for the role and we’re happy with everything so far, we will extend an offer to you for joining our team in your new role.
