Job description

This internship program was created for those who wish to start a career in IT but fear that they are currently missing the knowledge or experience needed to find a job in that field.

White Label Agency is a WordPress outsourcing company. Our customers are digital marketing and advertising agencies from the US and Europe and our job is to take care of their WordPress development for them.

Please note that we do not consider applications from interns who want to study remotely.

1.1 About WordPress Intern position

If you become a WLA’s intern you’ll join our team in one of our 2 offices in Poltava and your first job would be to learn about our basics: our technical leaders will teach you about our processes, our WordPress development standards and so on. Your first small tasks will follow soon after.

This internship program can last from 3 weeks up to 2 months depending on how you’re managing with it and takes 40 hours a week (8 hour work day from Monday to Friday). Our interns are compensated for their daily expenses like trips to the office and lunches.

At the end of the internship, we have a review meeting with our interns where we discuss their progress, performance and whether there are opportunities for them to become WordPress developers in White Label Agency’s team.

If you become a junior developer at our company and you’d like to level up to a middle developer position we have a training program lead by our technical leaders that will help you reach your goal.

How does the hiring process work?

Here’s what our process looks like once we get started:

1

Screening over a call

We start with a quick and friendly phone call so we can learn a little more about you and your fit for the role. At the same time, you can ask questions to us.

2

First interview

We’ll organise an interview (usually with the HR manager and another team member) to talk more about your skills and experience and how they relate to what we look for.

3

Practical test

If the interview goes well, some roles might require you to complete a practical task (like a coding test, or a hypothetical scenario) so we can see you in action.

4

Second Interview

We’ll organise a second interview to discuss your practical test and explore any new questions that might have. You could also be meeting other team members at this stage.

5

Offer

If you’re the best person for the role and we’re happy with everything so far, we will extend an offer to you for joining our team in your new role.
