1.1 About the vacancy

This position is renewed due to the opening of a second WLA office in Poltava. We are constantly growing and we’d like to invite you to join our team.

We have opportunities in our Poltava office for young energetic Computer Science students that are eager to get an actual experience within the IT sphere. At first, you will be educated on the basics of our WordPress web development process, and as soon as you are ready you will be given simple tasks (mainly connected with content management) to consolidate your knowledge.

The term of the position is from 3 weeks up to 2 months and will require a time commitment of 40 hours per week. Living expense compensation will be provided on a monthly basis and most intern positions turn into full-time development roles upon completion. A review will be conducted at the end of the term to discuss progress, performance and post-internship opportunities.

1.2 Requirements

  • Education in programming or students of Computer Science (starting from 4th year)
  • Knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Basic knowledge of CMS WordPress
  • Diligence
  • Attention to details
  • Self-organization
  • Positive attitude
  • You want to get real experience with real projects!

1.3 Having these skills is a plus

  • Knowledge of some CSS framework (Bootstrap, Foundation)
  • Advanced written and good spoken English
  • Experience with CMS WordPress
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator

How does the hiring process work?

Here’s what our process looks like once we get started:


Screening over a call

We start with a quick and friendly phone call so we can learn a little more about you and your fit for the role. At the same time, you can ask questions to us.


First interview

We’ll organise an interview (usually with the HR manager and another team member) to talk more about your skills and experience and how they relate to what we look for.


Practical test

If the interview goes well, some roles might require you to complete a practical task (like a coding test, or a hypothetical scenario) so we can see you in action.


Second Interview

We’ll organise a second interview to discuss your practical test and explore any new questions that might have. You could also be meeting other team members at this stage.



If you’re the best person for the role and we’re happy with everything so far, we will extend an offer to you for joining our team in your new role.
