Under the leadership of CEO Einar Emilsson and COO Bobby King, The White Label Agency has grown from its beginning to nearly 50 staff in under three years.
This rapid growth was entirely self-financed. Given the bootstrapping approach of these first years, both Einar and Bobby have worn many hats. In particular, Einar has been simultaneously responsible for big-picture, long-term strategy as Chairman of the Board and the nitty-gritty of optimizing everyday operations as CEO.
Having passed the bootstrapping phase, The White Label Agency will now redouble its efforts to improve the quality and consistency of our WordPress outsourcing services for our partners. To do so, the company is investing in expanding its management team to allow each member of leadership the opportunity to narrow their focus and energies to specific areas.
With this in mind, The White Label Agency recruited two new managers on a trial basis starting in February: Daniel Corin Stig as Chief Sales Officer and Edwin van der Maas as Sales Manager. Based on positive feedback and results, both will be promoted to new C-level positions as of this week. Daniel will take on the role of CEO, while Edwin will assume the role of CSO.
With Daniel taking over as CEO, Einar will commit to working solely as Chairman of the Board. This shift will allow Einar to focus solely on long-term strategy while bringing new energy into the day to day operations with Daniel as CEO. Daniel will lead the Marketing Department and Edwin will head up the newly named Partner Success Department. Previously, these areas were grouped together as Acquisitions and Retention. This change will allow our sales operations to scale up with renewed leadership capacity and solidify our commitment to establishing successful relationships with our partners.
Both Daniel and Edwin bring meaningful experience and knowledge to their new roles. Until recently, Edwin himself was a co-manager of one of The White Label Agency’s partner clients, so he is very familiar with what matters to potential partners. Meanwhile, Daniel’s background is in Engineering Management, which gives him the knowledge to streamline and improve the company’s processes. Together, Daniel and Edwin have the skills and energy to help usher The White Label Agency to its next phase as a high-quality, long-term partner for WordPress outsourcing.
