International IT-Company The White Label Agency is looking for new talents for the position of WordPress Support Technician.

The White Label Agency — a company engaged in WordPress web development, web design, and maintenance. The head office is based in Massachusetts, USA and this position will be located in our Poltava, Ukraine office.

Job description

The WordPress Support Technician role will be responsible for handling the technical aspects needed in order to properly service maintenance requests from our partners for existing WordPress websites.

The Support Engineer duties include: 

  • Helping partners via tickets to make changes to an existing website
    • Reading and clarifying via comments if needed 
    • Performing various types of update requests
    • Elevating tasks to development team when needed
    • Testing changes 
    • Communicating status in a timely manner 
  • Updating WordPress plugins and testing for compatibility 
    • Addressing technical issues that come up directly or via WP Development team
  • Performing and monitoring WordPress backups 
  • Accessing multiple hosting environments 
  • Working with domain names and changes to DNS records
  • Creating and working with staging environments


  • Great communication skills – ability to read and respond clearly to requests in English; 
  • A strong understanding of the Web; including familiarity with HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, HTTP;
  • Troubleshooting skills; 
  • Experience with staging or version control workflows (Git);
  • Setup FTP,SSH;
  • Familiar with cPanel and phpMyAdmin;
  • Moving completed WordPress projects from one hosting environment to another;
  • DNS records, familiarity with web hosts and domain services (GoDaddy,CloudFlare, Etc);

Having these skills is a plus:

  • WordPress administration or development knowledge;
  • Experience migrating WordPress websites;
  • English proficiency;
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, including support and training;

How does the hiring process work?

Here’s what our process looks like once we get started:


Screening over a call

We start with a quick and friendly phone call so we can learn a little more about you and your fit for the role. At the same time, you can ask questions to us.


First interview

We’ll organise an interview (usually with the HR manager and another team member) to talk more about your skills and experience and how they relate to what we look for.


Practical test

If the interview goes well, some roles might require you to complete a practical task (like a coding test, or a hypothetical scenario) so we can see you in action.


Second Interview

We’ll organise a second interview to discuss your practical test and explore any new questions that might have. You could also be meeting other team members at this stage.



If you’re the best person for the role and we’re happy with everything so far, we will extend an offer to you for joining our team in your new role.
